Mike Davis was born in Atlanta, and grew up deep in the heart of the Bible belt. He left the Baptist Church and became an atheist at the age of fourteen after reading Bertrand Russell's Why I am Not a Christian. He received a B.A. in German literature from Emory University, and an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Minnesota. For the past twelve years he has worked as a corporate trainer, project manager, and technical writer for the two of the nation's largest corporations. He has recently completed a book-length manuscript entitled The Atheist's Guide to the New Testament.
